  • Q. Wrinkles and wipes the nozzle during printing

    Cause analysis and suggested solutions

    (1) The amount of ink is too large and the paper cannot bear it —— Replace high-weight paper;

    (2) The printing environment is too dry —— The printing environment humidity is controlled at 45%-65% between;

    (3) Rewinder tension is too high —— Adjust the winding tension as appropriate;

    (4) The elastic edges of the paper make the paper feeding unstable —— Increase loose edge tension or change paper.

  • Q. Wrinkling during transfer process

    Cause analysis and suggested solutions

    ( 1 ) The unwinding tension on both sides of the transfer machine is inconsistent —— Adjust the tension of the transfer machine to keep the tension on both sides consistent;

    ( 2 ) Transfer machine blanket pressure is insufficient —— Increase blanket pressure;

    ( 3 ) The backing paper or fabric is wrinkled —— Cut off the existing transfer backing paper and fabric and re-transfer;

    ( 4 ) The elastic edge of the paper makes the paper feeding unstable. —— Increase the unwinding tension on the loose side of the transfer machine. If the transfer machine cannot adjust the tension on one side, the loose side tension can be artificially increased;

    ( 5 )The fabric is too thick and has poor breathability —— Slow down the transfer speed.

  • Q. Color difference occurs during printing or transfer process

    Cause analysis and suggested solutions

    (1) Printer nozzle clogged —— Clean the nozzle or replace the nozzle;

    (2) Uneven coating of paper —— Replace paper;

    (3) Displacement caused by printing arching —— Replace paper with higher weight or faster drying speed;

    (4) Inconsistent coating on paper base —— Use the same model product;

    (5) Transfer conditions are inconsistent —— Unified transfer conditions ;

    (6) The storage time of printed paper varies greatly. —— Keep the storage time basically the same.

  • Q. Color stick on the back of transfer paper

    Cause analysis and suggested solutions

    (1) The amount of ink is too large and has not been dried. —— Replace products with higher weight or increase drying intensity;

    (2) The storage environment is too humid and the printed paper will get damp. —— Store the printed products in a sealed plastic bag;

    (3) The ink used is easy to sublimate —— Control the printing environment temperature and storage temperature. It is recommended to be lower than 30 degrees Celsius;

    (4) There are liquid drops on the paper during the printing and rewinding process. —— Clean printing equipment promptly.

  • Q. The edges of the printed pattern are blurred, the lines become thicker, and ink bleeds

    Cause analysis and suggested solutions

    (1) Paper gets damp —— Replace paper and control the humidity of product storage environment 45%-65% ;

    (2) Paper moisture content is low —— Adjust the humidity of the printing environment, and pre-expose the paper to the environment before printing to balance the moisture of the paper;

    (3) The paper used is too rough, resulting in reduced clarity —— Replace the paper and use a smoother product.

    (4) The amount of printing ink is too large and the paper cannot absorb it. —— Replace with higher weight products.

  • Q. White lines appear during printing or transfer

    Cause analysis and suggested solutions

    (1) Scratch defects during coating process —— Replace paper;

    (2) Bruises and scratches during the cutting process —— Replace paper;

    (3) The paper feed roller is scratched during printing —— Clean the printing equipment and replace the paper ;

  • Q. White spots appear during printing and transfer

    Cause analysis and suggested solutions

    (1) Oil stains: Generally larger, can be inked —— Replace paper;

    (2) Water dots: regular small dots that do not completely leak out after printing —— Replace paper;

    (3) Dust: extremely fine, completely leaking —— Replace the paper.

  • Q. How to prevent the nozzle from rubbing due to paper arching?

    reason:

    During the printing process, the drying temperature is too high, causing the paper fibers to lose water, deform and arch.

    measure:

    (1) In an environment where the room temperature is 20~35℃ and the humidity is 40~60%, the printing platform heating can be turned off or turned on at a lower temperature to prevent the paper from arching due to water loss;

    (2) Reduce the air suction force on the printer table as much as possible. Especially when stopping printing, please turn off the air suction on the table to prevent some paper left on the table from being wrinkled.

  • Q. What should I do if powder sticks to the non-patterned parts of the paper during the powdering process?

    reason:

    High ambient humidity leads to sticky powder; low ambient humidity leads to static sticky powder.

    measure:

    (1) When the humidity of the powder shaking environment is greater than 80%, turn on the dehumidifier or turn on the front guide plate heating of the powder shaking machine to prevent powder from sticking due to moisture absorption on the surface;

    (2) When the humidity of the powder shaking environment is less than 40%, turn on the humidifier, and touch the powder shaking machine with your hands to reduce static electricity when the powder shaking machine is powered off.

  • Q. What should I do if the hot-melt powder does not adhere enough, resulting in insufficient color fastness of the transferred pattern?

    reason:

    If the temperature is too high, the pattern will lose too much water, resulting in insufficient adhesion of the hot melt powder.

    measure:

    Turn off the table heating when printing and turn off the front plate heating of the toner shaker.

  • Q. How should powder drying be done correctly?

    measure:

    (1) Shake the powder lightly depending on the state of the hot-melt powder;

    (2) Select the appropriate drying temperature according to the selected hot melt adhesive to ensure that the hot melt adhesive powder is completely melted.

  • Q. Why do white spots appear on the pattern during the transfer process? How to avoid it?

    reason:

    Due to the weather, the room temperature is too low or the air humidity is too high, causing the white ink to dry slowly, resulting in the ink layer containing more water. The water remains in the ink layer during drying after shaking, and turns into water vapor during hot stamping. The pattern appears with more white spots.

    measure:

    This can be solved by increasing the heating temperature of the printer and shaker guide plates to properly evaporate the water in the ink layer.

  • Q. Are there any specific requirements on transfer temperature, pressure and time?

    measure:

    (1) Determine the accurate transfer temperature, pressure and time based on different fabrics, heat transfer machines, and hot melt adhesive powder. You can do a small trial with the same fabric before formal mass production to determine the hot stamping method that achieves satisfactory product results. temperature and time. For recommended conditions for related materials, please refer to the instructions of our products;

    (2) Stretch fabrics must be preheated before transfer.

  • Q. Are there any specific instructions on the stripping process?

    measure:

    (1) When using, select the appropriate peeling speed (cold tearing, hot tearing and second tearing) according to the properties of the fabric and hot melt adhesive powder;

    (2) It supports cold tearing and hot tearing. When using instant tearing, the action should be as fast as possible. Slow tearing may cause edge warping.
